the studies for 2023
The Department of Islamic Affairs and charitable Activities in Dubai honored nearly
250 of the closing studies of the Holy Quran and the early Riyad al-Quran and the
winners of the annual Holy Quran competition for the year 2023, organized by the
Department of Islamic Knowledge programs at both al-Mezher Islamic cultural
centers and Umm Al-Shaif Islamic cultural centers in the harvest of 2023.

This came during the closing ceremony organized by the Department of Islamic
Affairs and charitable work in Dubai yesterday morning at the Intercontinental Hotel
– Festival City, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Hamad Sheikh Ahmed Al
Shaibani, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and charitable work,
and in the presence of Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khatib, executive director of the
Islamic Affairs Sector, Mohammed Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the
Mosques Affairs Sector, Butti Abdullah Al jumairi, executive director of the
institutional support sector, Dr. Hamda Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of Islamic
Knowledge programs, a large number of things .

Dr. Omar Mohammed Al-Khatib, executive director of the Islamic affairs sector,
delivered a speech to the Department on behalf of His Excellency the director
general, he extended greetings to them and thanked the director general for
organizing these honorable Quranic competitions from the work team and judging
committees, praising the final results achieved by the scholars of the Holy Quran and
the early Riyad al-Quran and the winners of the Holy Quran competition for their
excellence as well as the success of the morning and evening educational programs
in a model that is considered the highest race in existence, the race of the Holy
Quran, appreciating the efforts exerted in memorizing the book of Allah.
He stressed that the Department of Islamic Affairs and charitable work is diligently
keen to consolidate these values and concepts in the souls of our sons and
daughters, and encourage the establishment of educational programs, religious
competitions, events and cultural activities that would improve the individual and
society by allowing the learning of useful Sciences, explaining that all participants in
all educational programs and the competition of the Holy Quran are winners for their
initiative in memorizing the Holy Quran and learning useful sharia sciences.
For her part, the director of the Department of Islamic Knowledge programs, Dr.
Hamda Ahmed Al-Muhairi, explained that the number of studies is approximately
2000 in both al-Mezher Islamic cultural centers and Umm Al-Shief Islamic cultural
centers, were characterized by high levels of memorization, Tajweed and recitation,
and reported that 36 studies were stamped from the Holy Quran this academic year
2023, pointing out that the establishment of these educational programs and the
Holy Quran competition entitled (Let the competitors compete) comes within the
strategic axis of the department to achieve a leading position and the establishment
of these honorable competitions among females to spread awareness and religious
education in society, and graduate a generation proficient in the book of Allah Come,
compete to memorize and recite it, as well as they contribute to instilling the love of
the Holy Quran in the souls of the Daughters of the homeland .

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Omar al Khatib and Mohammed Ali bin Zayed Al
Falasi honored the students and took commemorative photos with the work teams.
