SHARJAH: Pakistan Islamic High Secondary School (PIHSS) emerged winner in an exhibition tournament held at the SA Sports Club.
Margalla Football Academy, Islamabad, Pakistan; Pakistan Islamic High Secondary School, Sharjah and SA Sports Club, Sharjah took part in the tournament.
Margalla Football Academy from Islamabad came on a tour to UAE to play in a exhibition tournament and train their U-14 team attended training camp at the world-class facilities here.
Chief Guest Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, gave away the prizes in the presence of Chaudhary Khalid Hussain, President of Pakistan Social Center, Sharjah, Shakir Ali and Irfan Ansari from Al Sahil Sports Academy, UAE, Munir Hans, President of PPP, Gulf Region and other dignitaries.
The event was supported by Farzana Mansoor and Zubaida Khan from Women of Wisdom (WOW) Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA) UAE, Dr. Noor Al Sabah, CEO, Chai Shai Restaurant.
After the prize distribution ceremony, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai spoke to the participating teams and praised their sporting skills.
PHISS captain received the winners trophy from Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan to Dubai.
Runners Up trophy was received by team MFA captain from Chaudhary Khalid Hussain, President, Pakistan Social Center, Sharjah.
Shakir Ali, CEO, Al Shahid Sports Academy UAE, gave second runners-up trophy to team SASC captain.
The Organizing Committee also honored Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan, Dubai, Kahif A Khan – MD, SA Sports Club, Sharjah, Irfan Ansari – Sports Promoter, UAE, Arshad M Rana – General Secretary, EMRA UAE.
The Special shields was awarded to Mateh ur Rahman, CEO, Margalla Football Academy, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Margalla Football Academy, Islamabad appreciated the effort of the Organizing Committee, especially, Kamran Ahmed Siddiqui, Director Event Planning EMRA UAE for organizing this sports event, Farzana Mansoor, Organizing Secretary, Chaudhary Khalid Hussain, President, Pakistan Social Center, Sharjah and Sajjad A Khan, for media support.
Hussain Mahmood, Consul General of Pakistan, Dubai appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the Organizing Committee and has congratulated Raza Abidi, Chief Organizer, on arranging the successful event.
