CITY
[January 15, 2024] Don’t take our word for it – come and try the burger voted best in
the UAE at Drip Burgers’ new outlet in Dubai Media City.
Now, more people can try the trending burgers, which are available via Lounge Café
Italiano, at Arenco Tower, opposite the American University in Dubai.
The disruptive burger brand, which combines top quality meat with Khaleeji flair,
celebrated winning Virgin Radio’s Best Burger in the UAE accolade after DJ and TV
personality Kris Fade was wowed by its premium Wagyu burgers.
The community-driven brand, launched by an Emirati couple who share a mission to
provide great food, great vibes and banging flavours, serves up tasty burgers with a
local twist.
Drip Burgers leapt onto the Dubai burger scene in summer 2021. Starting out as a
side project and cloud kitchen in Al Barsha South, the brand’s Emirati-inspired
burger menu has quickly gained popularity and recognition as one of Dubai’s best
burgers in a very crowded market.
Ayushman Shukla, GM, Drip Burgers, says: “At Drip Burgers, we’re doing something
quirky and unique with our brand. We’re popping up inside restaurants all over the
UAE. And we’re inviting everyone to experience the best burgers in the country”.
“We love local culture, music and sport, and back our brand with community events
and a deep support for sustainability in everything we do,” added the GM.
That invitation to try a Drip burger now extends to all the office workers in Media City,
everyone who lives in the area, alongside AUD students – and if you’re super keen
but not in the area, it’s a short walk from the Metro station, too.
Drip Burgers’ menu is the result of the owner, Nadia’s collab with Chef Khaled Al
Saadi, one of the most celebrated and highly regarded young Emirati chefs – who
delivered local flair through his deep understanding of UAE food culture.
Drip Burgers delivers the taste of Dubai in a bun. This means lip-smacking flavour
combinations influenced by Dubai’s mix of cultures, premium wagyu beef patties that
ooze juiciness, crispy brined chicken and a homemade menu and sauces that drip
with culture.
The homemade menu caters to a large spectrum of tastes inspired by the melting
pot of cultures that is Dubai, ranging from Arab and Asian influences to American,
British and more. Choose from a spicy Haar Chicken Burger marinated overnight in
Asian spices, drizzled in a coriander and jalapeño sauce, topped with chopped
jalapeños, red onion and fries, or a Levant-style OG Burger flaunting a tender beef
patty smothered in kashkaval cheese, pomegranate glaze, pickled turnip, sumac
onion, garlic aioli, pomegranate seeds, romaine lettuce and tomato.
Of course, there’s the classics too, from cheeseburgers to crispy chicken burgers
and tenders, as well as milkshakes and desserts.
Toppings and sauces are all important for that signature ‘drip’ – and guests can
choose from caramelised bacon and onion jam or crispy fried onion toppings
combined with either buffalo, honey sriracha, honey mustard or house drip sauce.
And for that Dubai flair, you can expect pistachio creams and nuts in the milkshakes
and desserts. For the ultimate social media boast, why not grab a chicken Drip
burger loaded with Chips Oman or Flamin’ Hot Cheetos? Maybe both?
And there’s more – every order, whether via an outlet, from your car or via any of the
main delivery platforms — comes with a free karak chai.
Drip Burgers newest opening in Media City is its second physical location in Dubai,
with the first Drip Burgers venue in Arjan.
As well as taking the Best Burger In The UAE accolade on Virgin Radio, Drip
Burgers was nominated as Best Casual Eats by female-forward social networking
site That Dubai Girl. It was also a Zomato Best Burger nominee in the restaurant
aggregator and food delivery company’s annual awards.
