As part of the preparatory efforts, the Engineering and Mosque Care Department conducted a workshop for second-year students at the School of Architecture, Art & Design at the American University in Dubai. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the general requirements, rules, and regulations of the competition. It included providing students with a detailed overview of a designated plot of land on Pearl Jumeirah Island and guiding them in modeling the design for this specific location. This initiative is in line with the department’s overarching vision and strategy, focused on constructing comprehensive and sustainable mosques, ultimately contributing to the Dubai Urban Plan 2040 and the development of various neighborhoods and areas across Dubai.
